These pictures are a tribute to Mom & Dad's Garden, and were taken in July, 2004. I hope you enjoyed your stroll through the garden today. I look forward to your next visit.
I'm so glad you are all enjoying our garden!! Delphiniums have always been one of my favorites. We have a picture from years ago...I should scan it and put it here...it was so big around that my husband's baseball cap fit perfectly! LOL Mom & Dad don't have as many as they used to...Dad is more interested in day lilies now...before that it was gladiola...he also likes the wild flowers...the little purple gentian(sp)on the sidebar. I couldn't wait for this years flowers..so I got a head start with these pictures. I'm not sure...but this site may turn into more of a tribute to my parents' and their garden rather than for other Manitoba gardens...but I will add others if I'm sent some. Enjoy the iced tea! There's a nice bench over there...or some lawn chairs under the trees...make yourselves at home...or do some weeding if you like! Oh..watch out for the garter snake in the grass under the crocus!
Hi Deborah, Thanks for visiting my blog.This is great you have your Canadian Garden and I have my Indian one.But mine is not so well managed and manicured like yours.God gave me a vision 4 years ago to turn my church campus into the garden of Eden and with faith we are doing our bits and peices.
I have a penpal and spiritual mentor since the past 25 years. She is an 84 year old Christian lady who lives in Minnesota.I call her Mom.I have never met her, we write by snail mail and talk on the phone.
you really have a mother 's heart. And you don 't look like a grandma at all. Love, Amrita
Absolutly beautiful! I hope you don't mind if I list this in my side bar under lifestyles! Too pretty not to share!!! The hosta's oh my the hosta's, I love those!♥
Deb, What a beautiful garden! How very blessed you are! Thank you for sharing those wonderful photos. I do miss the spring and summer flowers, however; I long for snow here. NC (The States) We rarely have snow here. My boys would love the opportunity to play Hockey in the snow as your boys do. God bless you Deb. Continue with your writings, God has truly blessed you. Your sister in Christ, Bren
Tis just after midnight here near Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and you have given me great joy with the promise of spring. I have delphinium seedlings in and larkspur and we are about to end the first month of winter.....today is the shortest day of the year....a day I loved to be passed when I was a teacher. Lovely to share gardens....mine will be bare bones photos for a while now. Thanks for your visit.
Thank you for visiting my blog Deborah, I can't get over how beautiful your parents garden is, it's amazing!!
My precious Hubby and I are now starting a make over in ours!! I can only hope ours turns out to be a 1/4 as nice as your Folks!! They have inspired me, thank you for sharing! {hugs & blessings}

You are always welcome in my garden. I'll have some iced tea waiting!
Those flowers are beautiful, Deb. At first I thought I had an unusual bird in my front yard. Those blue delpheniums (Sp?) are lovely.
I am on my way, with a stack of books....oh this is beautiful
a respite.

Mom & Dad spend hours in the garden to keep it this way...but they love it!
That's wonderful that you have kept in touch with your penpal...I wish I had kept in touch with Abha.
